RURAL SITE DIAGRAMMING

The impotant parameters for the site were chosen to build upon a diagram viz. the occupation, the occupancy, usage, circulation.

Design Development (Artist Center)

This project involved analyzing the site, and evolving patterns and

volumes based on what the site and the program demand. 

Orccha site (Rural)

The site is a connecting bridge between a settlement and green area over river Betwa.
The bridge, though meant for pedestrians or light vehicles only,
is one of the busiest points in Orchha.

The site is dominated by the rocks present,which is a major attraction
for people of Orchha. It eases access to the river which is used
for bathing and other purposes. 

The location of the bridge is such that it gives a glimpse of Orchha as a settlement.
The historic view of the "Chattris" to the new construction of resorts
are all visible from this bridge. Also, the bridge is known as the
"sunset point" by the local people.
